Introduction

Our history is our future and we’re deleting it at an alarming rate. Ever find a really cool website? A neat mod for your favourite game? Or be walking down the street and see something cool? Ever tried to return and find that and it was gone? It doesn’t have to be this way. Archive it!

That’s why I created Archivet, a site dedicated to preserving and archiving important pieces of digital and physical history. With the rapid advancement of technology, we are losing countless valuable items from the internet and from our world. I believe in the power of preservation and the importance of archiving things for future generations to enjoy. Archivet is a platform for me to document and share the things that I have come across in my personal life and online, that are in danger of being lost. With Archivet, I aim to protect these items for the future, and prevent them from disappearing into the void. Join me in my mission to Archivet! and preserve our history for generations to come.

Why “Archivet!”?

The name “Archivet!” is a fusion of “Archive” and “it!”, embodying Archivet!’s core mission and call to action. It’s more than just a name—it’s an imperative:

  • Archive: Preserve, protect, and document
  • it!: Take action now, before it’s too late

Archivet! aims to empower individuals to take charge in preserving what matters most. It’s a rallying cry for all who understand the value of our shared history and the importance of passing it on to future generations.

Ready to make history by saving it? Let’s Archivet!
